AT&S Research & Development is the driving force for identification of new technology options for creating interconnection solutions.  This encompasses the incremental improvement of current processes and materials with a timeline of 3-5 years ahead of production as well as the search for disruptive technology that can fundamentally change the way printed circuits are produced. We do this by continuously scanning and developing potential novel technologies not commonly used for Printed Wiring Board production, and monitoring closely the application scenarios offered by the advancement in telecom, automotive and other business sectors.

Our goal is to provide insight into new technologies, reduce the cycle time to introduction of new technologies into the production and thereby enable the continued support of our customers.
